    That seems like a lot. You can have lots of keywords for your SEO, but they might not compliment your website. If you go to Google Adwords you can type in your website and Google will list keywords based on your website and what people search for.

    300~600 words is the best choice, but to get better SEO, you need to focus on the keyword density as well

    Hi,

    As a copywriter and SEO expert I would like to add, word count is not so important for the SEO.

    Important is keyword density regarding specific page and whole website.

    Just try to make your content informative and keywords rich, good to start with optimization on both yahoo and google.
