What is QIF File Extension?
Definitely QIF extension or Quicken Interchange Format is older than the famous Open Financial Exchange. The File Extension QIF is associated with the program Quicken which deals largley on accounting-related matters. One problem of QIF is the inability to merge imported transaction with that of the current account information. There are many money management software such as the ever famous Microsoft Money, Quicken and the like and which has versions that have versions earlier than 2006 can actually read the File Extension QIF to import information, but then again, Quicken, has dropped support to such extension file for online banking accounts (2006 software versions)
I have known a friend recently downloaded a file wherein the file extension is a cant run the file. We thought that the file is corrupted or something but ran a quick updates on his drivers. We had this theory that there might be a corrupted or missing registry files within his system. We then search on major search engines a software that really can update the drivers and eventually read the File Extension QIF that he recently downloaded, luckily we found this website.
